The Regional Government Law for Cultural Sponsorship in Navarra (Ley Foral de Mecenazgo Cultural de Navarra) has established a new model of public-private collaboration for the implementation of cultural activities and projects, through MECNA distinction.
Artists and cultural entities may apply for MECNA denomination, recognized by the Government of Navarra as artistic and cultural initiatives of social interest. Companies and particulars supporting these initiatives may have access to interesting tax incentives.
MECNA recognizes the commitment of citizens, entrepreneurs and society in general with the funding and promotion of culture.
